  • Hi Rep, any bargains?

    • +1

I guess $41.60/kg seems to be their bargain. It could be better if the 20% off new customers via email subs stacks?

      Is this roaster worth that?

I think Airjo had an offer last week(hopefully to be repeated) for $33.30 /kg delivered so comparatively expensive but these may be A grade roasts?

Thanks Seraphim2017, You're correct that the 20% off for new customers will improve the offer, maybe even putting it into Bargain territory :)

      Hey WatchNerd,

      Matt here from Brightside.

New customers to Brightside can checkout with "allbrightythen" for 20% off, which is on top of our existing offer.

      Cheers,

  • The additional 20% makes it rather attractive, if it’s a quality coffee

    • Thanks linkindan, we'd love your feedback if you do get an order through to us this November (or any other November for that matter).

      Matt

  • Hey Rep
What blends or single origin beans would you recommend for espresso ?

    Thanks

    • Hey Heretisj,

Lighter and brighter fruity espresso: Aricha Washed Process
More dried fruit and berry notes, more syrupy: Aricha Natural Process
For a richer and more traditional espresso, either the Finca Pequena Colombia or the Brazil Yellow bourbon

      Thanks!

      • So Finca Pequena Colombia or the Brazil Yellow bourbon are your strongest /darkest beans most suitable for espresso ?
        Thanks

        • Pequena Finca is the strongest of the two.

          • @Brightside Coffee Co: Thanks Rep,

Lastly i dont see an option anywhere to enter code "allbrightythen" (after credit card details but prior to PLACE ORDER) .

  • What's the best blend you do for milk based coffees?

    • If you prefer a creamy more subtle chocolatey taste akin to a hot milo, the Good Times Blend is for you, the Among Friends is a richer and punchier coffee, with a hint of dried fruits in it. Sort of like the black forest cake of coffee. The fruitier notes come from the Naturally processed Ethiopian coffee which makes up a portion of the blend.

I recommend checking out the reviews on each product to see what other Brightside customers have said about the coffees.
      Thanks!

  • Keen to try a new coffee, love the ace ventura reference

    • Thanks so much Noided, can't wait to get your order shipped if we have one from you!

  • At Brightside, we got 50 orders today, and I'm fairly sure most of them were from Ozbargain.

Loads of bundles were sold, and quite a few Colombian Single Origins also.

A huge thanks to you all, and we hope you love your coffee!

  • Was supposed to finish by freezer stash before I go on holidays.

Couldn't resist the bargain. Ordered SO filter 👍

    • Thanks so much Originalflake!

Stoked to hear it, and hope you love it.

  • Hi rep,

which one would you recommend for filter coffee?

    • Good morning,

We have 3 diferent filter roast options at the moment:
Gabriel Nunes, Brazil - Strawberry, jam & milk chocolate. My personal favorite at the moment.
Aricha Washed, Ethiopia - Brighter and juicier - candied lemon, toffee notes
Aricha Natural, Ethiopia - Syrupy & Berry forward. Apricot notes.

You can select the roast profile (espresso or filter) on the product pages of these coffees. Or if you're interested in a subscription for Filter Roast coffee, you can get an automatic delivery of one of our current options on a schedule from 1 - 6 weekly.

      Kind regards,
      Matt,
      Brightside

      • Thanks Matt.

Got 2x500g to try it out.
