The 4GB cards were not on clearance.

Not the best deal for the Micro Sd card, ok for the normal SD card.

These days though i wouldn't get anything under 4GB, but a 16GB micro sd can be had for $10 on special.

  They're also a good way to avoid equipment failure - if all your photos are on 1 x 16GB card, you lose them all if the card fails. Taking multiple cards means you spread the risk and reduce the chance of losing everything.

    Better still, if you have a laptop, netbook or tablet with you, backup the cards to the computer and a flash key every day. You can still lose all the pictures if the cards are kept with the camera and your camera is lost.
