What is this stuff? Does it do the same thing as rainx? Are we talking no fog (internal) or water displacement (external)?

I've used this product during winter. Honestly the hydrophobic properties kept lasting maybe a week at best before falling off a cliff, and even then weren't particularly impressive. I used Gyeon's ceramic detailer on my windshield and water would fly off more readily at 60km/h onwards and last whilst this product sort of needed to be at 80+ to do anything. Just my experience.
It did leave a great shine, but bear the issue with these 2-in-1 products is you sort of need to clean your windscreen properly beforehand anyways since you need to buff them out before they haze fully.
It says last for weeks. I wonder how many weeks last long? 2weeks 🙄
