  Honestly, I think this would last my dog beyond February. Especially factoring in that I would need to introduce it slowly into his diet so he didn't get runny poops.

    I stopped buying from this Chinese owned dog food company after they changed the ingredients from what the Aussie owners used to have - % protein has also dropped

    Get Hypro Premium (In house brand of the factory that's contracted to make Meals For Mutts) You don't need to introduce it slowly as its lower in fat and gentle on the gut.

  Ivory Coat established a loyal following as a small Australian company, but has seemingly suffered significantly since the brand was purchased by The Real Pet Food Co. We have noted numerous issues linked to Ivory Coat dog and cat food since mid-2020 and strongly advise against feeding Ivory Coat products.

    Damn that stuff sounds poisonous! I was considering buying a bag for emergencies - we cook our dogs rice/pasta + passata + tinned tuna + carrot/cabbage/cauliflower/potato/sweet potato/pumpkin (depending on what's in season). Just toss it in pressure cooker for 40 mins with some water for the rice or pasta. Sometimes when I cook up a batch for them I steal some while it's fresh!

  Random side story if you wish to read it:
  Have a cavoodle. Kibbles tried: Advance chicken and rice, Advance oodle with salmon and rice. Had runny poop problems and yearning for grass. In attempt to diagnose issue vet suggested could be protein allergy and to try something different. Have been on Meals For Mutts Dog Single Protein Grain & Gluten Free Kangaroo for over a month and poops have never been better.

  Advance gave our German very bad allergies.. stick with grain free for less allergies and auto immune issues… Add half a tea spoon of organic psyllium husk only twice a week for some extra fiber to help with heart & gut health due to lack of grains… sorted :)
