  • Where is the flame for 125?

  • Flame, definitely. The bigger battery makes it worth it.

    • but compare to Flame for $125 and ELF II only $75… $50 extra is almost doubled

      • You sure the Flame is $125? Did you take into account shipping charges?

Hell yes man, if the Flame was that cheap, $50 extra is a small price to pay for all those extra benefits.

The IPS screen makes a huge difference to viewing angles.
The extra storage is good too because think about how much it costs for a larger SD card.
The battery is also about 20 or so percent bigger.

        • pretty sure $125

it's free shipping for slow mail

China Post Air Mail Free Shipping 15-45 Days
          EMS $26.78 5-10 Days
          DHL $42.13 3-6 Days

  • it comes down to your priorities

i need bluetooth so thats non negotiable

storage and screen size etc isnt an issue

  • +1

  • Beware…that $128 store on Aliexpress does not honour its orders… I ordered one and then had to cancel it…. Aliexpress deducted $128 USD from my australian credit card and when refunded, it was about $8-9 less (because of conversion charges and exchange rates)… So if you are getting one for any lesser than $140-142 (delivered), the chances are that you would end up in the similar situation as me.

Also note that there are public holidays in China till 9th Oct, so any order would shipped after this date…I ordered mine via DHL by paying $18 extra just before their holidays started….so the item got out of China to HK and now would have landed somewhere in Australia.

    Hope it helps.

  • Yep, totally agree with batrarobin. Couple of weeks ago tried to buy cheap Ainol Fire/Flame (around US$125 mark) from 2 different sellers on Aliexpress. Didn't go well for both transactions, long story short had to cancel both transactions as it couldnt be sold for that price. This was even after a long chat with one of the sellers specifically asking what model it was and getting confirmation it was a fire.

  • I received my first delivery of Fire/Flames yesterday. What a gorgeous piece of kit, the screen is really, really stunning. Perfect out of the box, no issues at all. I left one running 720p video this morning to see how well the battery lasts.

I'm selling them for $195 delivered from Sydney. (Very limited stock, only 3 right now, they are hard to find at a decent price from wholesalers)

Of course you can save 25% by ordering from China, but you carry all the risk if the transaction or the product has issues.

I'm getting more when the factory comes back from vacation, I'm expecting stock around Oct 12-13, happy to take preorders once stock runs out.

I also got a sample Onda v712, which is a bit cheaper, but the Fire is worth the extra $20, it has the same processor and screen, but needs some configuration work to make it fully functional.
