Cheaply made - my daughter bought a pair from David Jones, worn for less than 6 months and the fake leather split. Refused under warranty, daughter has no time and will to fight DJs for warranty.
Maybe try them for $20pp, but I would never recommend this brand ever based on the construction of the shoes that I saw.Did you pay RRP? Then RIP. 😑
Warranty should respond. Ask to speak to the manager and say considering the price paid, they were certainly not fit for purpose under ACL.
I have 7 pairs of Veja and 4 of them are at least 2 years old. The other 3 are almost like new at over 12 months pld.
Most of my family and friends buy them and none of them have ever had a bad pair.
Sounds like she just had bad luck to me.
Tell them to jam their warranty, goods are expected to last a reasonable period of time according to price paid under consumer law.

I have a pair of these and the only major downside is that it's not super comfortable for long term wear (reminds me of vans). The sneaker tongue also has to be worn in a bit otherwise it feels like it's pressing and cutting into your ankle a bit
Great price. Terrible shoe though.
Sole is thin, has no grip, and feels like you're wearing a plastic shoe.
