YT Premium Signup from Overseas

Hello,

I'm currently overseas in a country where YT premium is cheaper than Australia. I am doing the following:

I can see local prices, and I may be able to sign up.

My question is:

Has anyone done that and would it accept our AU credit cards? Including future months
Would I be able to use my account when I am back in AU after upgrading while overseas?
I do not want to risk getting my google account cancelled by Google - just want to know if this is okay.

Hoping you can share any wisdom.

Create a throwaway account, signup for family account and if it payment works invite your main account in.

there's a ton of user who use YT India or similar with AU credit card in this forum, so it is totally do-able (banning account or not is a separate question)

Although it's unlikely a active account will get banned, but if it did get banned, I doubt you'll be able to contact Google support easily so I assume once an account is locked you won't be able to get very far.

Sign up with a alt account might be a good idea, though you'll need to signup with a AU region account, otherwise you won't be able to link it to your family to share the benefit.

With Google's Policy, do remember to log on your alt every few month at least, in case it get deleted.

Need to create a new payment profile of the country you're in. Can use AU card for it.
