Merchant Category Code for Australia Post Everyday Mastercard

Anyone knows the Merchant Category Code when reloading into Australia Post's Everyday Mastercard?

I've got a WIREX card that gives 4% cashback but excluding some Merchant Category Codes, trying to find a prepaid Mastercard that works so that I can load money in it to pay for ATO bills.

I know that Coles prepaid Mastercard works but there's a purchase fee most of the time and also, it'll take some time having to pay them in $250 transactions.

  • Just use iTunes gift cards like everyone else.

If nobody has the answer to your question you can just do a test transaction from an account that provides the MCC detail in the transaction history. Accounts from the Teachers Mutual Bank divisions do that for example. Hiver has the broadest membership criteria of the brands and currently waives the membership fee.

    • Thanks. I might try it myself if i dont get an answer.

      • Did you ever find the MCC code?
