Kitchen Couture 30 Litre Air Fryer Oven $45 Delivered @ Coles BestBuys

1680

Have been hunting for a BIG air fryer after our oven died and almost bit the bullet on the Healthy Choice $99 24L one when a search for 30L ones found this bad boy. Cheapest elsewhere is $168 at MyDeal but most selling for $200+

Reviews seem good especially for the price. Biggest complaints seem to be that the bottom tray stains easily (so will investigate putting something over it) and that the manual is pretty ordinary.

At at time of posting there were 199 available so get in quick.

  • Got a dispatch notification from Coles Bestbuy. It's Happening!! Both the chair and the airfryer are being shipped. Officially best deal I got from here.

  • +3

Mine has shipped via Aramex, so I still may not receive it haha.

    • +2

Good ol' aramex. Its a coin flip with those guys.

    • Not even a chance if you live in Newtown, Sydney - when i lived there (many one way streets), they were so lazy that the driver would set it as delivery attempted/card left, which was odd as i was always home…and i would go down to the mailbox, and find NO card. Then a few days later, one of the shop owners on the main street half a block away would bring down the card that one of their lazy ass drivers had stuck under their doors and run away. Happened 3 times until i stopped buying from people who used them or they let me choose another carrier. They are The Worst

  • Your order has been dispatched, nice!

  • Does anyone tracking work?

    • +1

      Nope.

As i mentioned earlier, generating tracking numbers is within the inventory system.

It doesnt mean a thing until it shows that that the item has been scanned and moving.

Even the ones that show picked up by courier, usually means the courier company is contracted for the storage and logistics on behalf of the supplier.

I just got another (unsolicited) update to my support email from Coles which may help in the tracking stakes:

….."The link becomes active within 72 hours of the order being dispatched"

….."If your order is taking longer to arrive than estimated, or if you think the tracking information is incorrect, you are able to contact the delivery provider directly or respond to this email and we will investigate."

Lets see if that happens, considering it was supposed to be shipped in 3 days (last week)

currently AusPost tracking says to try again in another 24 hours, which would be the 3rd day…

Well ill be damned, its now changed form check back in 24 hours (as it has for 2 days), to:

    Wonders will never cease

  • Just received my $45 Gas Lift bed and have received an updated email saying the Air Fryer oven in on the way. Thanks again OP, and other posters who alerted me to the furniture deals as well.

    • The worst thing you could get in my opinion is fabric furniture.
IIRC, the gas lift bed was fabric. The amount of dust and dust bugs you get in the actual bed frame over time is not good for your health. Unlike bed sheets, pillows and mattress, its hard to clean the actual fabric frame with water without damaging the MDF under the material. Just my 2 cents

      • Interesting theory.

I presume your lounge is tiled?

        • Its not a theory. Ever heard of asthma triggers and dust mites. And god forbid your kids (school) or relatives from overseas dont bring bed bugs with them, then its a nightmare.

          We have a leather lounge.

          All beds are solid wood

I dont even have curtains, all are blinds that can be wiped easily

        • Do you just rest it loosely on top of the food?

I would have thought that would impact the radiant heating circulating through the unit, but will happily buy one if it makes a positive difference to the cooking and the cleanup. Plus it will increase the value value of my new air fryer oven by 25%!

          • +1

@UncleRico: haha no, i cook my meat (smeared with some oil, and on top of alfoil, because easy cleanup) in the tray in the middle area and i put the wire rack above, with the splatterguard on top of that

i know its a HUGE cost increase, but trust me, you will thank me when you dont have to try and clean the roof of the air fryer….

            • @amosmilburn: Cheers, Happy to give it a crack at the price. Would never have thought to add a lid to an air fryer, but always happy for a good life hack…

Do you know if the 32cm fits, or do you have the 29cm version?

              • @UncleRico: ive been using this method for over 2 years now, and in fact i have some lamb about to come out, never impacted cooking as far as i can tell

i only wish i had thought to do it sooner….trying to clean the roof is a PITA

              • +2

@UncleRico: Sorry, didnt realise theyd added a choice of a larger one….29cm is what i have

i hadnt opened the new one yet, but i have the 29cm version for my old one near as i can tell same size interior

opened one of the new ones and checked

29cm/33cm(just) will fit - just checked with tape

my old one wouldnt fit the 33cm

                • @amosmilburn: Cool. Many thanks for checking and for the original suggestion.

                  • +1

@UncleRico: Sorry i hope you saw my final edit, as i change the content there a few times as i half assed guessed, then confirmed with a tape :)

Airfryer was delivered this afternoon. Happy with the size so far, but havent tested it yet.

  • Got my two delivered. No updates just appeared after comes confirmed. no 59 apparently.

      Review:

      • It works cooks food decently but not as crispy for small portions.
      • Fan is quite loud and is always exhausting once heated.
      • The menu selecting sounds is really loud
      • Cycling through preset cooking settings is annoying as its goes clockwise.
      • Pan already got scratched by tongs brushing crumbs to the side.
      • air-fryer basket sticks to food.
      • +1

Sounds like glass oven half empty…

Are you going to keep it?

        • I bought mine to put next to my weber Q for family bbqs to cook things on the side so no one has to go in the house. Also have my old ninja blender there too. For $45 , its a no brainer. Just have to buy fine mesh to stick on openings so roaches and insects dont get inside

          air-fryer basket sticks to food

Spray it with oil before putting food inside

Pan already got scratched by tongs brushing crumbs to the side

Ill take measurments and see if i can find some decent aftermarket ones. Otherwise, might have to grab a few from old ovens and mod them

      • -2

Can you measure the inside dimensions please? I'm wondering if my existing pans will fit if I buy one.
Also, have you used a normal basket style air fryer, and if so, how does it compare?

        • use a lil oil
        • thats normal
        • menu sounds as a minus seems picky
        • thats normal, there has to be an order, unless you particularly like chaos
        • cover the tray in alfoil, it makes cleanup easier and protects the surface
        • again, light smear or spray of oil - aka normal
  • +1

Ha Ha! My air fryer just rocked up. Had honestly completely forgotten having ordered them. They look huge in the box.

    • box is imposing, but its all normals on the inside :)

Mine turned up at the post office where I’d sent it today , so that’s good .
Hopefully it doesn’t jack up my lectric bill like the last one .

Still hasn't arrived and I've got this message for tracking?

Thanks for Using Our Tracking Service
Unfortunately, your parcel reference number does not match a parcel reference number created on our system.
This could be because the courier has changed the tracking number used while the parcel is in transit.

    Just got it! Joy

  • Anyone who bought 2 in Perth? I would be super happy to buy 1 off you
