FYI … this is a mix of different B group vitamins … If that is what you are looking for then fine.

Generally speaking … majority of ppl don't need B group supplements from B1 + B2 +B3 + B5 groups … It is more so B12 supplements needed (esp women as they get older).

Much more worthwhile getting a specific B12 supplement (eg 1000mcg per tablet - compared to a mere 50mcg in the Cenovus tablet) of B12 that you get with this specific product.

    Just saying.

Excuse me? B1 and B2 are icons.

And less than half the dosages of everything compared to Blackmores Exec B, albeit at a third the price.

I ordered it in May for under $8, but (psychosomatically?) experienced nowhere near the improved energy and more restful sleep I get from Exec B.

      YMMV…

The link you've provided doesn't say this at all? The Cenovis tablets have a higher concentration of numerous vitamins than the Blackmores, and where it doesn't it isn't "less than half".

It's a different product to this, so perhaps one of the additional ingredients is something you're missing, but the tablets certainly aren't less than half the strength overall.

    • Which do you take?

I wholeheartedly disagree with this sentiment. IME your comment applies more when talking specifically about vegans with good, healthy digestion, on paleo style (micro-nutrient rich) diets. An average punter benefits from boosting the whole B group as much as from B12.

Before anybody claims you don't need more than the RDI, or your fortified wheetbix are plenty, consider that the RDI and general diet doesn't look at individual level bio-availability, digestibility, etc. For example, consider that a bunch of pellagra sufferers were cured when B3s effects on mental health were discovered, and some of them had normal diets but impaired digestions for whatever reason. Also consider that some forms of vitamins need enzyme activity before being utilized, or have dependencies on other vitamins - such as the common antioxidants.

I take this daily and have noticed significantly improved energy levels. Based on above comment, I might try a specific B12 later on to see how my energy levels compare.
