Is there any way to get discounted blizzard/Bnet balances / wow subscription?
Currently I can only see 10% off (purchase blizzard GC with discounted Officeworks GC)

You can technically get someone to buy it for you and you PayPal them its a good way to sell gold legally in wow. Because wow token is 320k gold. if you wanted would be happy to do 15% off anything on the blizzard store.
I haven't played on Aussie realms before, I need to buy the expansion first
When I buy the game its on US servers oceanic realms are just attached under the US tabs.

The expansion comes on sale every so often, if it's not actively on sale now maybe wait for Black Friday to see if it goes back on sale then?
Unless you are preordering the next expansion, which I think comes with Dragonflight. I doubt they'd put that on sale. Might be the better option though if you are planning to buy next year's expac as well.
Best discount and perks is the 12 month sub, then 6 month.
But if you're just starting out, go a month at a time.

Hey @bri11iant-y, just double checked the OW giftcard T&Cs because I thought this sounded like a loophole that was too good to be true. OW conditions of use provide "Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards". Bummer
