Decent discount for the recently released MGS collection.

If you don't care for all the games in the collection, the individual games in the collection are 20% off

MGS1: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/metal-gear-solid-master…
MGS2: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/metal-gear-solid-2-sons…
MGS3: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/metal-gear-solid-3-snak…

It's Konami, I get it, but at least for MGS2 and 3, these are native PC ports which will inevitably be modded by the community and most likely become the definitive way to play these games. For example, the MGSHDFix allows 2 & 3 to be played in widescreen, it also supports 16:10 aspect ratio for Steam Deck.

This deal is also avaible on Fanatical: https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/metal-gear-solid-master-co…
But the individual games are only discounted at 17% off with the general discount code.

I love Metal Gear Solid and I have been a happy customer of GMG since their first year of trade, but I would suggest everyone ignore this deal as Konami truly lowered the bar with this barebones effort. The games deserve better and so do we, so let's all enjoy the magic of emulation of our legitimate personal rips from their original releases on the PSX and PS2. Check https://youtu.be/awtK6JKXX0U?si=tl6M_yJS_x1Rt0KX for a list of some technical issues and the originals running in 4k at the tail end.

I still have the greatest collection edition for ps3. I can’t see this as a bargain

This should hit at least half this price to be even remotely considered as a bargain. Also Konami can get (profanity).

From what I've seen, people are going to have a better time running their own emulators than playing these half-arsed ports, and paying this kind of money for such low effort development only encourages more behaviour like this from game publishers.

Vote with your wallet. Don't buy this.
