I've seen a few videos on YouTube of gesture controlled remote controlled cars that I think my 8yo would love for his birthday.
Unfortunately, I also noticed very similar ones being sold by Temu and am concerned how many brands I've found, that I've never heard of, that I suspect are just rebranded garbage.
My kids have had RC cars in the past that break after a few uses and am really wanting too avoid something like that.

Some of them seem to have a button on the finger strap that switch it to spin mode, which seems more reproducible than the spinning hand gesture in the previous video.

Amazon reviews seem to be filled by bots, with many of the negative reviews implying that the ridiculous number of 5 stars could not be legit.
If anyone's got experience here, I'd love your recommendations.
