As per header: my Wise Visa card stopped working yesterday for no apparent reason. Worked fine before. On research I found that I need to update Google Play Services. After doing so Wallet told me that Visa changed something and that should wait before re-add the card.
Anyone else here who has the same experience?

Fixed: Just in case someone comes across this post;
Head over to “Settings” on your phone.
Next, tap on “Apps”.
Then enable the option “Show systems apps”.
Go back and search for the “NFC” option in your apps list now.
Next, tap on “NFC->Storage”. Finally, tap on the option “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data” one by one.
After that, reboot your phone to take a fresh start.
Nope……unfortunately sounds like you are special. I recently had an issue using Visa "issued" cards in Japan to top up my underground / train card…..worked ok for Mastercard.
