I just activated my prepaid sim from Lebara. I went through swap convert to esim and I got an error saying I'm using the existing number.
I called them and they said I need to get a new esim card. Doesn't that mean I will lose my existing number?
Is it possible to convert my sim to esim without 2 phones?

I did. They said I need a new $2 esim. Which I can't find on their website.

Yeah you'll need to buy the $2 sim to convert oddly enough
that's odd. I had a similar issue but with Vodafone (Lebara) uses their network. Vodafone arranged a new SIM and converted that to eSIM. Allegedly the app should be able to swap but my number got disconnected before the swap finished
Probably because it's more expensive haha. I chatted to more about esims as I am worried something might go wrong with it and they said it's $10 to change
Damn, I don't think it's more expensive but rather the fact that those using eSIMs are more likely to be dual SIM customers so trying to effectively tax you on that.
Particularly for iPhones & Google Pixel, you get single physical SIM and eSIM as a dual SIM
@nsingh21: and this is part of my current problem…I have a Pixel so to do dual SIM, I need atleast one provider to have eSIM. Since Boost profit deals don't have eSIM, I have to choose the other provider carefully lol
