Recommendation for Bluetooth Laser Presentation Pointer

Look for suggestions for a bluetooth laser powerpoint presenter. Not too expensive, but does the job without hassles.

Been doing a few presentations on zoom, and using the mouse gets tedious. Notice quite a few people in online webinars etc, are using clickers to advance their slides.

Thanks.

  • Strongly recommend getting one with a USB receiver instead for minimum hassles. They're all the same, none of the fancy features are worth it, grab the cheapest one from officeworks.

  • +1

Cannot go wrong with Logitech R400 Presenter or Logitech R800 Wireless Presenter

Used them all the time for conference over a big distance as well (front to back of a room) and never had a problem.

    • yeah the r400 is great..even if the ergonomics..are a bit weird imo

  • The Logitech ones are solid.

We use them at the school I work at - The fake Logitech ones (they're branded Logitech but you buy them for stupid cheap prices from ebay etc) feel a lot crappier than the real ones and have a habit of just dying.
The Baseus ones are decent, but seem to conflict with other ones near by (I thought they'd use a random frequency/coding each, but they all run on the same)

  • Visible clickers are a bit weird, like watching a ted talk. I'd get a small one you can palm so people can't see it and they can think you just magically timed your presentation perfectly.

    • As it is on Zoom, no-one will see it anyway!

      • You mean you haven't built a stage to stand on for your Zoom presentations?

        • Not yet, got to get the new studio built first :-)

  • nevermind got confused with pointer and printer

  • Thanks everyone, decided on the R800 from Amazon.
