Asus Zenwifi XD6 or TP-Link Deco X68

Quick question:

Which would you recommend for a sub $400 mesh system?

I have a 100/20 FTTP connection in a 2-story home. I do a lot of streaming with my Plex server and a few smart home devices. I see a lot about wired vs wireless backhaul. As I am unable to run ethernet cabling upstairs, how important is it, especially as the TP-link is tri-band and Asus is dual-band?

TP-Link Deco X68(2-pack) is currently $297 – https://www.wireless1.com.au/tp-link-deco-x68-2-pack-ax3600-…

ASUS ZenWiFi XD6S AX5400 is currently $399 – https://www.jw.com.au/product/asus-zenwifi-xd6s-ax5400-whole…

I am open to other suggestions as my ISP-supplied Netcomm is utter garbage.

If you are using it for internet (i.e. not local file servers in your house) the bottleneck will be your NBN speed, and either will be fine.
