Hi, we are planning a big family celebration and can only fit it on a Sunday but the surcharge is massive so just wondering if there are any good discounts on gift card such as Restaurant Choice where you can use them anywhere just to save on the surcharge cost?

The physical cards are essentially EFTPOS cards and these are a lot more restrictive than the digital cards. I don't know if they will work in restaurants that aren't listed on TCN's website.
I have only purchased the digital versions and can confirm these will work basically in any restaurant.
Unfortunately there aren't any discounts on the digital card as of today— these are probably going to go on sale sometime on Black Friday. I recommend clicking the Subscribe button on the product tag so you can get notified if a deal pops up.
Thanks for the tips, just subscribed. I really like the Restaurant Choice but haven’t seen discounts for a while. I used it on hotel too. Been waiting for a while to stock up but now I know I can buy TCN too.

That is a Retailer specific card, not a eftpos or Mastercard
Thanks for that. I saw some comments that the restaurant list was restrictive so was going to skip it but now I’m thinking it’s not too bad as some are quite good restaurants.
contacted them directly last week. They no longer sell the digital cards on their site, so no more of the 20% off deals like we saw BF last year. They said they are now sold on Giftz.com.au
