LG 55LM6410 55" 3D LED TV, 4x Passive Glasses Included for $1627@Harvey Norman

70

Hi everyone,

This is my first post I would like to share. I bought this LG 55" 55LM6410 LED 3D today at JB Hifi for $1575. They price matched Harvey Norman special sale price of $1627 and a further 20% of the difference price matched competing with The Good Guys. As you know The Good Guys refund policy 120% of the difference if seen advertised cheaper within 30 days of the purchase date, subsequently an additional 20% off of the difference resulting in a final purchase price of $1575. I was told its below cost (no surprise there) but you might able to haggle more, getting them to throw in additional accessories eg.HDMI cables due to the same deal can be bought from The Good Guys.

The Tag price for this TV from three electrical stores are:

The Good Guys -$1897 (instore price)

Harvey Norman sale special-$1627 (tag price in-store I've seen is $1900ish)

JB hifi -$1797 (online and instore, normally its $1897 but they're currently running a special as of today knocking off $100)

Here is one review online.

$1575 for a 55 inch 3D TV (4x passive glasses included) which is aesthetically pleasing is a great deal, saving the hassle from buying oversea and having warranty peace of mind.

  • i was wondering, do all lg 3d tvs have dual play? as in, you can play a game on the ps3/xbox on co op and have two people see different screens

Put $1627 from HN in the title as price matching isn't a deal.

You are correct sir. I must be slippin'. Then I guess this is a better deal?

$1459+$45 delivery (sydney metro only) = $1504 which is still a $71 saving from $1575 but
delivery cost is more for other states so the bargain still stand valid imo :)

  • I recently bought the LM7600 for $2060 from the good guys and they had a promotion for $200 store credit, effectively making it $1860 (I used my GG gift vouchers as well ;).

Not sure if they still have the promotion going but its worth a look - the LM7600 is 200hz and the reviews are very good.

  • I bought the LG 55LM6410 at Harvey Norman today for $1496 including delivery, wall bracket and wall installation. The free delivery and installation is a promotion for this weekend only for any 55 inch or larger TV.

I saw same TV in Dick Smith for today only sale at $1325.80, but they wanted additional $264 for delivery & installation, and I had to supply the wall bracket (approx $50-80).

  • Concur with kondar, picked this one up today at HN for that price as well and all the extra goodies for free.

I think it's a fantastic price especially when including all the extras……good bang for your buck imo
