I have this one and am very happy with it but cannot comment on the Philips

Hey, if it helps the Instant Pot model won America Test Kitchen's top pick for airfryers. I have the same model and it is great.

As I understand it, one of its biggest advantages over the Philips model is it is way easier to clean. The Philips has a whole inner basket you need to clean, whereas the Instant just has a tray thats easy to throw in the dishwasher. You still need to clean the drawer, but that is the same on both models.

Would definitely buy the same model again if it broke.

      • Thanks, appreciate the info. Ended up ordering it last night so should arrive today. If you have time to share any other tips (cleaning, cooking) that would be awesome.

Good piece of kit this one, recently cooked a whole chicken (around 1.8kg from memory) and it came out pretty much perfect first go.

  • Cheers OP, been pretty leery of the usefulness of an air fryer but for this price I'll give one a go, especially since it sounds like it has a bigger capacity than most

  • Picked one up. Some very good reviews. Stainless steel is a plus.
