  • $12 shipping to Melbourne.

    • Yeah. Those battery-backed UPS are heavy

    • My shipping said $18 via Toll and $24 via eParcel? Melbourne also.hmmmmssss

      • Mine was $18 shipped to Brissy via Toll too.

    • Shipping jumped to over $19 when I logged back in through moneybackco..

This is the second time I have observed moneybackco prices higher than the non-moneybackco price..

From now on I'll be paying far more attention.. cause based on this, it seems you pretty much pay for the moneyback anyway..

      • Hmmmmmm, if it's true that shipping is actually based on whether or not you used an affiliate link then I'm extremely p!ssed off..

    • It was $12 when the deal first came out as it has a flat shipping fee. But now it's $17.74 to Melbourne.

  • Make sure you combine with PAYPALVOUCHER (or is it PAYAPALVOUCHER?) to get a free $10 MWave voucher.

  • That wraps up my Christmas shopping..
Brilliant!! I had no idea whatsoever for my brother-in-law till I saw this.

  • Even with the shipping its an excellent deal.

Can be bought for $110+ from stores in Melbourne.
Cheapest with store pickup seems to be $159.95 from Streetwise.

This part of the description disturbs me though:
No of Sockets: 3 Battery Backup Sockets with Surge Protection; 1 Socket with Surge Protection Only

The other Belkins I've seen online have 6 sockets - 3 battery backup and 3 surge protection.
The picture on MWaves site shows 6 sockets.

I've emailed them to clarify this.

  • Can anyone confirm if 400VA is enough to protect a 42" Plasma (Panasonic 42PZ800A), and an Xbox 360? If not, what would be a good one to look at (battery backup def preferred)?
    Thanks.

  • I went and got a price match in officeworks. They said they couldn't give me a further 5% more off but they could do it for $64.95 + $12 shipping, which turned out to be cheaper cos Mwave charged about $16 shipping to Canberra.

  • Got mine delivered today. Looks like the unit's been moved around a fair bit, box it came it was ripped and opened, although the internal packagin seems to have been untouched.
