  • Any zombies out there?

      Don't say that!

Should really include Paul, even if it's a different director.

    • +21

Yeah but nah, it's not part of the Cornetto Trilogy.

This deal is a slice of fried gold.

Cant wait til my kids are old enough for this

  • Out of interest, does Amazon Australia still stock and sell 4k Blu-rays?

    • +5

Hmmm, excellent question. They have very limited stock left and don't seem to be getting new releases.

      • Thanks, I have been seeing this for a while now, but nothing official. I guess they want us to buy digital from their streaming service. Getting plenty of Amazon Prime emails wanting me to buy or rent from their service.

    • +1

      Not that I can see.

Won’t be surprised when JB follow them next year :(

    • Haven't seen any new models in some time, but you can still get them. They're just not cheap for a decent one.

      Panasonic DP-UB820GNK $537.99

Decent price for that one, but not what he was asking for :p

      • I was lucky and picked up the Pana 820 earlier in the year from Appliances Online for $466. Their pricing was all over the place and grabbed it when it suddenly dropped.

Thanks for spotting then posting this one, I'm not made of eyes and might have missed it ;)

    The greater good

  • I've only seen Hot Fuzz out of these three…

    Shame, really

    • Spaced is where it all started….it spawned many of the classic zany UK comedy sit-coms/ sketch shows like Green Wing, Smack the Pony, Father Ted, The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, etc

      • I love Spaced, but you're just so wrong there.
For a start, Father Ted was released 4 years before Spaced. I could keep going but am busy

        • +1

Apologies, I meant Spaced was were it started for Simon Pegg and Co; and yes I got that wrong, the Irish written Father Ted preceded Spaced, my memory let me down as I believed it was later than Spaced as FT still seems so fresh and funny although it's nearly 30 years ago….where's the flippin time gone?

      Hot Fuzz is cinematic genius

Shaun of the Dead is very good

      The World's End is solid
