    Just use the same device, wireless charging isn't proprietary & the cable looks to be USB-C, plus there's a spare USB-A for any other cable. Any issue just return it for free under Prime.

  Great idea - nearly bought it (without having a need for it of course) but the built in cable is lightning. I'll wait for the next version with USB-C.

    I was thinking of it for travel and no more taking cables: built-in cable to charge the phone, wireless for watch, useful as a small battery backup (if I'm far from a plug), and it explicitly supports pass through charging.
