Does it have any rubber smell? Had a bad experience with other mouse pads. Smelled strongly of rubber and synthetic materials out of the box. And no amount of washing would remove the smell.

Can vouch for the desktop mat, going strong after a year. Good price too!
Any factory smells? Had a few bad experiences where the desktop mat smelled like rubber out of the box and no amount of washing or sunning would get rid of the smell.
