    Aren't Pirellis 50% off tomorrow?

    • Been waiting for it and did a price check online seems tyresales.com.au are cheaper than mycar’s 50% off…

      • cheaper than mycar’s 50% off…

I just checked… Both are listed at $239…. mycar will be 50% off tomorrow.

        • +1

Checked a P Zero 295/40/21 which is $759 on mycar and tyresales for $370 fitted. Even with 50% off, mycar is doing $379.5 each tyre.

Tried the other day to get Bob Jane to price match mycar's 50% off Pirelli and they didn't even want to match the price let alone beat it by 10%.

    • It's 10% of the difference not 10% price beat.

      • That's what I meant. Doesn't matter they didnt even want to match the price.

      possibility to stack?

Yes, you can safely stack up to 6 tyres before it becomes an OHS issue…

    • can't stack but 35% is cheaper than 3 get 1 free

  • Their prices are jacked up, more expensive than Tempe even after the discount.

    • prices are jacked up

I see what you did there…

    • tempe tyres are grey import, and most have old manufacturing date

      • Whoa wait what? This is news to me. Are they actually dodgy old tyres? Is there a way to request new ones from them?

        • no with their prices. You get what you pay for, just like fragrances at Chemist Warehouse.
Normally they sell 4YO tyres so you get 6 years left, still enough if you drive 10k-20k per year.

          • @billy72: I just checked my set that I bought with them 2 years ago. They were 15 months old at fit date, which isn't too bad.

    • This is actually not accurate. I checked the prices of equivalent tyres at Tempe and this deal is a few bucks cheaper. But you do have to buy 4 tyres at once.

  • +1

Prices are jacked up and always include expensive bigger rim size tyres.

Tyres: Michelin (last longer 3x these listed tyres).
Brunette-Redhead: French (e-R means Both, not either Brunette or Redhead, speckled ones better).
Stay away from anything is French except these two.
    Brunette: Italian
    Speckled: Aussie
    Blonde: German i.e. Helga

    • Were you typing two different comments and then merged them halfway?

  • Jacked up about 5%-10% but still better than buy 3 get 1 free.
If you are after yokohama, this is good deal

  • This does not include fitting, correct?

    • +1

      included

  • Bought a set of 4 Yokohama 265/75R16 LT X-AT’s for $941 Today ,
fitted and balanced old tyres dumped all included .
That’s $235.25 each for hybrid tyres , mud terrain carcass with all terrainish tred .
Very Happy , much less body wallowing with a stiffer sidewall tyre , and very quiet .
Only downside might be a much softer compound tred than the original Yokohama AT’s , don’t expect to see 100 000 kms out of them ,
    probably more like 50 000 .

This was a good deal for my car. Got Pirelli Scorpios for $749 fitted, balanced and aligned. Better than beaurepairs deal earlier.

  • Good deal for my car also on the Dunlop SP sport FM800. Way more superior tyre than the pirelli and Yokohama

  • Scored some AD09s for an absolute steal. Bob Jane called me after placing the order advising nil stock but then found some when I asked which of my staggered set was the stock issue.

Rare a tyre at this spec goes on sale… Initial feedback from friends is very good. Comparable to A052s
