Ryobi 36V Brushless Self-propelled 46cm Mower + Battery Kit for $799 (down from $899) at select Bunnings. Have been wanting one for a while to get rid of my old petrol mower which has died a few times and is getting expensive to service.

This was in the GC however met the rep who told me there are multiple stores in Brisbane - Caboolture/North Lakes and in metro NSW that are doing it - might be worth the drive. I am told they are constantly low on stock on this particular model as it is very popular and sales usually don't last long.

Warranty extends to 6 years if you scan the receipt within 30 days with Ryobi.

The bigger 53cm self-propelled is also down to $1099 (from 1299) at most of the same stores.

  would this be a overkill for 80sqm lawn?
  may be 18v brushless is enough? any suggestions?
