Backpack Mainly for EDC. Evergoods CTP26 V Aer TP3 Small

Looking for a backpack mainly for EDC. Travelling on the train 2 work with short 10 mins walk. Needs to be a decent size e.g. 26-28L as I often am away for a night and need clothing and food. Any recommendations between the Evergoods and the Aer. I like the look of the Evergoods better (I think) but apart from that I'm having trouble deciding. I also carry a laptop and tablet which I don't think either is great for but I can work around it.

I own the 35L Aer TP3 (X-pac). I was looking for a carry on travel bag so slightly different context but I too narrowed it down to those two options (in 35L). In the end I'd decided the main differences were aesthetics and price. For me, I didn't mind the look of either so just got the cheaper one which was the TP3 at the time. Some comments on the TP3:
    - It is bullet proof, I expect it to last forever; I like the X-pac material, is easy to clean, etc.
    - For work trips I happily carry two laptops in the padded compartment
    - When fully loaded (month-long trips) the bag gets pretty heavy but is certainly comfortable enough for few km walks - they have nailed the sweet spot re: features vs weight reduction

Anyway, I think you'll be happy with either option!

    • Appreciate the response. The TP3 small is on sale atm (non xpac) so ill probably pick it up and return if i dont like it.

    • Actually 1 question. Whats the drink bottle holder like on the Aer? Is it secure. Woult it retain a bottle while running for a train?

      • I like the bottle holder, the expandable zipper design. I typically use ~500ml disposable plastic bottles and think size is good for that, feels secure.
