Just curious after seeing the banner asking if I wanted pagination instead of scrolling for new deals.
I much prefer scrolling, what about you?

Giving members this option, to set the preferred listing options in their profile,
eg.
more items per page,
different views (compact, condensed, comfortable, etc.),
tiled view or listing view,
etc.
Pagination better than automatic infinite scroll. Shouldn't need to fight the site to see the footer. A "load more" button at the bottom would be okay though.
Nothing says "I didn't test my own website" like infinite scrolling on a site that has a footer. Sometimes I actually want to go to their careers page or contact us page.
Reasons why infinite scrolling is easier on the load of the system:
- full page load is not required when loading the next data set
- there's no need to know how many records are there in total, which is required for the pagination buttons.
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM ...is an expensive operation for many pages.
Pagination, but with more items per page.
