This deal is a bag of crap.

      It's compost, not manure…

      This deal is rotten…

      • compost is decayed organic material, of which manure could be a component.

I like your sense of humus.

      • wetting myself with laughter

Is it one free bag of compost OR soil OR mulch? The title reads like it's a free bag of all three combined, which is just weird :P

one or three. all is up to you. If you are smart enough, you can get more than three.

  • It would be wise to test any manure/mulch/straw on an isolated area, and see how the plants go for a week before spreading it to the rest of the garden.
Aminopyralid based pesticides are becoming a real concern.

  • Thanks - got one!

You can choose one of 5 varieties of either compost, soil or mulch. None of them contain any manure and certainly no pesticides as it's organic. Please limit your freebie to one bag per person as Jeffries are a small, family owned company not a huge multinational.

    • TY for the offer. What is best for starting seeds, or should I use the Yates seed raising mix?

      • You're very welcome:) Jeffries sell premium potting mix in bulk which would be ideal but out of the bag range I would recommend the Jeffries Organic Potting Soil. You could mix some slow release fertiliser through it; or if you want to keep it totally organic, mix through some liquid fish emulsion or seasol. Also, you can join Jeffries at www.facebook.com/jeffriesgroup for a great place to ask questions and share gardening tips.

  • Finally got around to picking up my bag of compost today. Quite surprised at the size of it, very happy. Forgot to ask what it'd cost if I wanted another though. Thanks Jeffries!
