Fantastic price on this one. 38mm, slim 2 hander with ETA 2892 movement and on a great bracelet. Note that it has no second hand if that's important to you … but I think that's fine for a dress watch.

Warranty is a 2 year My Gift Stop limited warranty

  • Great price for a 2892!

  • Looks nice and thin. Seems like a good price, jomashop selling for US$686.

PS no second hand is unusual, how do you set the time accurately. The movement states 'central sweeping seconds' but they have omitted obviously. No minute markers so maybe doesn't matter.

Also wonder what accuracy grade Hamilton chose to power their watch, but people will be buying this one for the clean looks not accuracy.

    • +1

Seems a bit pointless, getting an auto but not having the nice sweeping second hand. It might as well be quartz and cheaper.

      • Exactly - you wouldn't even be able to easily tell how precise the 'good' movement is.
They've tried to be a bit too simple & different I think.

  • 10mm thick but wears thinner to me with the domed crystal and thin case.

Love mine and never missed the second hand.

No decoration on the movement, just the custom rotor. I read that Elabore is the lowest grade for the 2892. Mine runs at +3 s/day

    • Yeah I looked it up on calibercorner

      • Elaborated Grade – Adjusted to four positions / average accuracy of +/-5 sec/day to +/-20 sec/day.
      • Top Grade – Adjusted to five positions / average accuracy of +/-4 sec/day to +/-15 sec/day.
      • Chronometer (COSC) Grade – Adjusted to five positions / average accuracy of -4/+6 sec/day.

Sounds like you got lucky, how would you know anyway with the second markers, you'd have to keep track of it over several days when it hits a neat minute somehow.

I reckon a Murph would hold its value but twice the price.

      • +1

Too many mechanicals to worry much about accuracy when I usually need to reset time before wearing anyway … but I do check them on a timegrapher after purchase.

Yeah - I tried on a Murph 38mm once and its a nice watch .. not easy to find at big discount though

        • Yeah guess you just have to ensure it's within spec when paying decent money.

  • Thanks Mod for adjusting the price down. Shipping is free & the auto added shipping guarantee of US$5.43 can be removed in the cart but not at checkout.
