I have received an email from Virgin money offering me and a guest to the resilient Lady for free dinner & drink while docking on the Rock.
I booked and registered a spot on the virgin voyage but, hasn't hear anything from them yet.
I rang virgin money they didn't know anything about it, they warned me it's scam. Has any OP people received same email and offering as I'm.

Dunno, but I wouldn't be handing over my driver's license website and DOB to them either way.
Seems like the paid option, that is open to the public uses splashthat also. So if it is a scam, it is a clever one.
I regretted afterward and hoping it's not a scam.
It does feel too good to be true. The advertised paid event in Syd is on Dec 5th and is now sold out. This one is scheduled for Dec 6th and it is logistically possible that this could be a follow up event and the ship is docking in Sydney for a few nights before it heads to Melb on Dec 10th for a scheduled similar event.

I cruise a lot. Not with VV yet. Getting non passengers on and off the ship would be a nightmare. Have you checked what her schedule is? Is she in port? Does she have passengers onboard? Why would they stay in port just to let non passengers dine for free? They will lose lots of money as the casino can’t be open and the shops stay closed in port.
Who knows. Virgin might be exploring new markets to alter the perceptions of people who typically don't consider cruises. Although I travel frequently, I wouldn't contemplate going on a cruise until I'm over 60, irrespective of the price.

I don't drink, so no hangover for me. Richard Branson came by our table when we were having dinner and he was eating at another table when we finished and were leaving the restaurant, so that was pretty cool too.

No indications at all that it’s a scam, the fact you can book the exact restaurants and the overall design of it makes it look legitimate.
