Hey all, firstly thanks for popping by!
I'm simply looking for advice on the best bang for buck for a Surface Pro laptop around $500/$600. What should I be focusing on hardware wise for that price tag? Should I be avoiding anything?

I've been eyeing off a pro 6 refurb for roughly the same price but i thought maybe i should be aiming for a pro 7 or certain specs with it. cheers
The big question is what do you want to use it for? If you're planning on using it for photo editing using Lightroom, it probably won't cut it.
If it's so your kids can watch Cocomelon whilst you're cooking dinner, that would be fine!
It's for general work purposes which includes the general microsoft apps (eg word/excel). General entertainments purpose such as streaming/youtube. Not really planning on playing any games on it but if it can run things like hearthstone/magic the gathering arena (easy to run games) it would be a plus.
Also for note taking/study. I like the ease of use and portability of a surface pro.

It looks brand new too, keyboard immaculate, battery about 95%….
