Seems expensive for someone that’s placed below the five but significant more expensive.
It’s a little different than that. This is more for home theatre set ups as it does Dolby atmos. The play 5 does not.
So this is a upgrade for home theatres not so much for just music listeningDifferent purpose. 300 is designed primarily as an Atmos surround rear. Or standalone or paired as Atmos music speakers. There are upwards-firing drivers, as left-right side-firing drivers.
This was also my understanding but its not to replace a 5 which i found odd considering the Era 100 is the replacement of the One….
er i think this is to replace the sonos play 3 (i know thats been gone for ages) but i feel like the era 300 fits as a replacement for the play 3
