Personally I'm not a fan of either the model or the colourway and there's much more exciting G-Shocks for the money if I wanted to drop a grand on a premium G-Shock but this is still an epic deal for a watch with GPS-controlled time-keeping (plus Multiband 6 radio-controlled time-keeping on top of that). I don't think I've ever seen an atomic GPS watch for $900 AUD before.

  • $900 for a G Shock? I don't think so….RRP $1749??.

Well sh*t, you better tell a multibillion-dollar watchmaker that's been in business since 1946 on how to develop, market and price their products then… I'm sure Casio would to love hear from "dynaflow" and your wealth of knowledge on the intricacies of the global watch market.

Also, please do post the many deals that you know of for GPS-controlled watches that are under $900 AUD… I can't wait to see what you (don't) find.

Depends how you see it. It tells time better, has more features, needs less maintenance, and is far stronger at a fraction of the price of a high end automatic. There are now a bunch of adults with discretionary income who grew up with g-shocks and are now keen on a more premium version.
