      Hi @smerm07 Sorry not just so much in terms of whites at the moment. The Wine Shed Sale is driven by wines excess to export opportunities. Most of those export opportunities are red and specifically Cabernet Sauvignon at the moment so the Wine Shed deals tend to be skewed by that. Rest assured as there's wines available, we'll try and craft some suitable deals.

    I purchased your village green a few years ago and its aged nicely! Im actually travelling to SA in a few weeks and will aim to check out your cellar door/kitchen! Will it be any cheaper if i picked it up? Otherwise happy to ship it! Thanks

      +1 for Village Green. Unfortunately I didn't get to figure out if it aged because it became the go to quaffer and ran out too quickly!

        fYI the Lakeside Shiraz 2022 is stylistically very similar and a good drop too. As is the new Shiraz Tempranillo from 2023.

        Good memories of actually visiting the real Village Green too. Terrific little pub close by. Happy days. RD :-)

      @Sestrooper yes, a bloody good drop that. You’ve probably got more of that left than I have! fine 2021 was a fine vintage. These mixed packs aren’t available at cellar door unless you order for Click & Collect and more than happy to ship to you at our cost.

        Yes good to know. Only have 4 bottles left of the 2021. Think they worked out for $11 a bottle or so way back.

        I'll have to try something else soon. Perhaps I'll taste some at the door before that :)

          A difficult question to answer as wine is so subjective. The reviews from writers put scores in the low 90s, so to say quality wines at a great price is the easiest way to answer that question. Hope that helps. Cheers! RD :-)

    Is this one of those wine companies that relentlessly hound people to buy more every few weeks? Multiple calls at random times, heavily pushing, don't stop even when asking to be removed from call lists. Been hit by that trap a few times and now I never join any wine companies because burned by it.

    I was so bummed during the promo period for the pinot noir offer a few months ago (promo code wasnt working - triple checked everything)
    Been a long term customer and pinot rarely goes on sale. Tried multiple times to contact OP to resolve via email with cust service and gave up with radio silence received which is frustrating. Off them now for that reason which is sad as i used to buy these sort of packs for presents. The pinot range is my favourite.

      That's correct. Firstly, your statement assumes we wish to supply Dan Murphy. They're not terribly supportive of small/independent winemakers.
      Their strategy in the sub-$25 range is to predominantly produce their own labels under Pinnacle Group, that way they make more margin.
      In the $25+ range they're buying established brands like Chapel Hill, Shingleback, Oakridge, Josef Chromy and others - again so they can make more margin.
      We prefer to work with small, independent retailers who are small/medium sized businesses like we are and have a similar values structure.
      We also work with major retailers internationally like Costco and have this last two years supply around 300,000 bottles to Costco across the US.
      Distribution is a funny old game. Always happy to discuss it.

          @Coffeedilmah Yep, medium sized, family owned, SA business with six generations of heritage in the wine industry. :-)

          We do supply Naked, they are actually one of the good guys, they support smaller, independent family winemakers. It's the big guys to be wary of :-))

          Thanks for the order and you should receive ahead of NYE (obviously depending where you live. For best chance, include an authority to leave if you're not around if there is somewhere safe. They'll likely leave Mon-Wed next week. Cheers! RD :-)
