  • Is this it? The masters link you posted doesn't work at all, not found error.

    • fixed

  • If you buy the vacuum cleaner and you need return it for RMA after your costco membership expires, will they even let you in the door?

    • I am not sure abt this part. But would like to mention that was told today that as long u r a member for continuing period, your product will remain under warranty covered by Costco (even aftr 5-6 years as long u r a member)

      • What is a "continuing period"? Memberships are always 1 year. Do you need to renew for another year to qualify to continue receiving the warranty you are entitled to from the product you purchased?

        • I believe you receive the default manufacturers 1 Yr warranty and get additional warranty as long as you are a continuing member i.e. renew the membership before it expires. If the membership expires then the additional warranty is void but you would still receive default manufacturer warranty.

..Pls correct me if i am wrong

        • The manufacturer's warranty on Dyson vacuum cleaners is 5 years… not 1 year.

If you only get 1 year at Costco, it's a deal breaker.

  • Seems my post might go waste as found better offer jus now for the above.

Those who r Woolworths employee can get 5% staff discount on top of Masters retail price 693$ plus Dyson promo offer.

  • It's $629 at appliance warehouse, same promo offer applies too.

I'm going to have to neg because this isn't really a great price tbh..

I bought the Dyson Animal which has a higher RRP than the Allergy for $649 from Hardly Normal 3 weeks ago. It had a floor price of $699 (RRP $949) and I asked a salesperson what the best price they could do on it was and I got $50 knocked off to bring it down to $649.

Can't remember how much the Allergy was though sorry but I'd recommend that you shop around at other stores first before buying from Costco - Especially considering I got the better model for cheaper at HN of all places.

    • It had a floor price of $699

Was it during a sale? Their current price is $798, and over the phone they said they won't price match online stores… I can get it for $704 online but that is the best i can find…

Bought the Dyson Allergy from Masters last month for $577.75; they beat a price I had online by 10% so I don't think this Costco deal is anything special.

    • well done on getting masters to beat the price by 10%.
their policy is to only match the price for appliances.

      • From what I have read, some people get lucky with the 10% whilst others only get the price matched. Perhaps I look so poor that they took pity on me :-)

My vaccuum cost me 20bucks from kmart, so 686 bucks isnt really a bargain in my eyes.

  • New carpet is cheaper.
