Missing Parcels by Aus Post

Hi guys i have a massive issue, I have returned a gaming console to Amazon using aus post label they sent and it's not moved or been scanned at all. no updates. But I also sold something so dropped off at the same place, Waverly gardens aus post. And both have gone missing, with no scans or updates.

is all it says. I have called support, and they said it looks like its not been scanned in probably and not been sent, i went back to the store they said yes its been sent but nothing is there, what can I do? no one knows where they are! amazon is holding my money and won't refund until they get the item.
The second item was meant to be delivered on the 8th and it was not. and also stuck on the same thing but also was just posted.

im confused anyone else has this issue? i hope they are not stolen. they are worth a lot of money and i do not want ebay to get mad if this does not get delivered on my second one or is it because they are just busy? if thats the case why are they not being scanned?

  • Did you have insurance on the item you sold?

    • no its a amazon return too missing

      • I think the Amazon item will be fine as their label was scanned as received at a post office.

The eBay one I was thinking you could claim insurance if it's deemed lost by AP in the near future. What was the eBay items value? You can claim the first $100.

    It’s safe unless it’s a Cartier watch

The package seems fine to me. We are in a busy period and your parcel should be updated hopefully Monday.

Sometimes this happens to me where it hasn't been scanned but the next few days it updates and it's already at the suburb of delivery.

I've noticed Amazon refunds me basically as soon as I drop it off at the post office, like minutes after dropping it off.

Correct for lower value items but not always for more expensive ones or Amazon US/UK/JP via Amazon AU ones. They have to physically go back first.

Seems like OP is messing around with PS5s. Those are prone to scams and thefts so not surprised no auto-refund on scan.

First thing to do, when you are pissed off enough via waiting for no value, is email the CEO so he has a record of their incompetence.Mention the value.
Not sure if the items do get lost or stolen whether you'd see anywhere near you loss. They suck.

  • Was both parcels posted on the same day?

If not, I'm surprised you would go to the same auspost after having problems with the first parcel

    • nope, and it is close. Also seems my ebay one has moved but the amazon is likely stolen and still lost, no updates, no one knows anything, amazon was able to refund me after going to them about it, seems strange.

  • Guaranteed Large Business venture idea.

Replace AustPost, actually deliver, make a squillian.

But, if you can't walk at least 50m from car to the veranda, forget it. Auspost doesn't, can't or is just too darn lazy. .
