Best Aircon Options for a Rental?

Hey folks,

My rental is getting pretty hot for my mom-to-be wife.

I wanted to buy an aircon, but the only issue is that our windows have a safety net so there isn't a proper way for me to set up an exhaust.

Any recommendations on what I can do for the exhaust?

Also recommendations on good portable air cons?

  • Just pick a smaller air conditioner unit from FB marketplace. They have a simple hose that you can tie to safety net to vent outside.

    • Great idea. I might just do that. Although a new Kogan unit is coming out to be the same price as second hand Rinnai

Can't see any thread thats asking about -
      1. How do people manage the exhaust in a rental with no windows
      2. A good portable air con.

The last thread around the second question is from 2017. I would imagine new products would be in the market.

Or maybe I don't know how to search! What did you find?

Check how big the evap bucket/drip tray inside the unit is. During the night it could overflow onto the floor if not emptied regularly.

    • Thank you. Will def keep in mind
