    confirmed all done n gone

    don't need. but would be nice to replace a few more of the wifi globes in one room with reliable zigbee ones.
    and the battery life on the (old) switches is amazing. if the new ones are similar i'd be very glad to have had another. so far: got over 10 years and counting out of the battery in the first one I have.

        sonoff USB dongle for the hub, hue globes (and one remote), ikea globes, with ikea remotes.
        Home Assistant ties it together (zigbee2mqtt behind that). I'm one who prefers smart globe n remotes, rather than smart switch. I've put 3D printed covers over the in wall switches and have the ikea remotes held on those with magnets taped on the inside of the cover.
