amazon has hundreds of better power banks in this price point or less

True. But Cygnett provide guarantees and replacements.

Doesn't specify current, so assume it's slow charging only.

        Translation - slow.

According to Choice it has 2489mAh usable capacity.

    • I assume this is considering the 5V conversion .. either way pretty bad .. at best 67% efficiency.

    • that might be the mag5000? https://www.choice.com.au/products/electronics-and-technolog…

wouldn't expect wireless charging to offer anything all that close to the rated capacity even with magnets
      this one isn't wireless

I got it on a Telstra deal for $15 and it is next to useless. Good for a top up but it’s not really useful. It is really small though which is nice.

OP $30 for a 5,000mAh rebadged China import, are you sure that you understand shopping? LOL

    • -1

Yeah i do, its actually a far better product than some of the batteries that blow up your phone, far more comfortable with them (LOL)

      • a far better product than some of the batteries that blow up your phone

Is that a feeling, opinion or data? LOL

A 5000mAh (maybe just 3000mAh at the best) power bank is useless because your phone has a bigger battery unless you bought a dupe phone LOL.
And I can buy a more featured version of this power bank (same brand) for $16 LOL

        • Experience :) i work outside alot and great to have a back up battery
          thanks for all your input
