Cheapest Way to Get The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 to Work with LTE

I have just bought my dad a Galaxy Watch5 Pro and i am now trying to figure out the cheapest and best way to have the watch work by itself without the phone but on the same number as he always forgets to take his phone with him when he goes out.
Also, the main reason he wanted one was to measure his blood pressure, he only has a HTC u11 and you need to have a Samsung phone to measure blood pressure, but i believe there is a work around where you can side load a version of the app that makes the watch think you have a Samsung phone, has anybody successfully done this?

How much did you buy? From where?

Search watch 6 lte thread you find your answer

Hilarious that you told OP to search the watch6 lte thread when you can find the answer to your question on the watch6 lte thread and you even replied to that same comment chain.

      Maybe practice what you preach?

  • If you want the same number as phone only the main telecom providers, Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, do number sharing.

The rest is up to which one gets you the best reception where you are and how much data you need.

Otherwise, if you want a different number then you can get prepaid esim as standalone for a lot cheaper

    • This sounds like a good idea, i dont understand if the phone has to be esim compatible aswell or just the watch itself, cause his phone is pretty old?

      • I had a read of the prepaid esim instructions and I don't believe it requires anything except the watch and another device that can show the QR code.

Best to make sure you can access the test feature on the watch before buying new sim.

      • Just the watch. Ran through this previously with a S20FE and Watch 4.
