Just noticed this, if you go into App and into Target under Cashback tab:

    Cashback exclusions:

These items are not eligible for Cashback:

    • Items in the Music and Gaming category
    • Softgoods: Fashion & Apparel, Accessories, Bed Linen / Covers
    • Hardgoods : Gardening, Books, Photography, Electronics, Luggage, Cards & Wraps, Toys, Outdoor, Toiletries, Furnitures, Festive Decorations, Audio, Dried Sundries, General Merchandise, Cosmetic & SkinCare, Fragrance, Bath & Body, Nursery
    • Target Australia App purchases

Since when Is this April Fools? Or is this not a joke? Might as well say everything is excluded?

This reads differently on the website. It reads as if music and gaming at excluded. And the following dot points are just specifying what is a soft or hardgood.

      “Notes
Music and Gaming Category Items are not applicable for Cashback
Softgoods: Fashion & Apparel, Accessories, Bed Linen / Covers
Hardgoods : Gardening, Books, Photography, Electronics, Luggage, cards & Wraps, Toys, Outdoor, Toiletries, Furnitures, Festive Decorations, Audio, Dried Sundries, General Merchandise, Cosmetic & SkinCare, Fragrance, Bath & Body, Nursery
Excludes Taxes, Fees or Additional extras“

      • Can you tell me what is included as what I want to buy is all excluded? So weird the exclusions.

        • From previous deals, hard goods stay the same rate, only soft goods increase to 25%.

Most OZB favoured stuff are hard goods.

@Neoika: I want to buy clothes. Normally it’s included. But the list posted looks like it’s excluded.

              @1bargain: Definitely included.

@Neoika: I went on Shopback, it clearly says excludes soft goods like fashion & apparel. Maybe they got it wrong? Or maybe the cashback at 4pm might have different terms.

    • Thanks!! Great pick up! Almost was going to buy a bunch of stuff and they’re all in the excluded list. Hmmm!

  • There's a $25 cap so give us 25% across all categories ffs

  • Was caught in the misleading Black Friday Westpac Target ad. Didn't get the Westpac Target bonus and customer support was unhelpful

  • I'm looking for a cheapish Xbox controller, but I guess this won't be it since gaming category is excluded :(

    0.5% on toys……

    • I don't like these deals being advertised before the categories are shown. Wastes everyones time.

  • My beanbag order tracked…

  • Waiting for mine to track

    • It doesn't look promising. I have purchased on Target many times without failed tracking, all within 3 hours.

      • Yours hasn’t tracked this time ?
