Best Way to Use Amazon US Gift Card

I was recently gifted a $100 Amazon US gift card. I didn't realise at the time that this could only be used on amazon.com, and this doesn't include US items that you can purchase via Amazon Australia.

Any suggestions on the best way to use this gift card without being hit with large taxes/shipping costs?

  Beat way to use it is to buy something on amazon.com with low shipping cost.

      They don't allow gift card purchases with gift cards.

  Buy the new Amazon fire and have someone ship it to you

  Keep the credit until you go visit, you can sign up for a free prime trial and have items shipped to a locker

  Thanks for the heads up but Amazon US ships to me - I wanted to purchase the Xreal Air 2 Pro - way cheaper then AU. That’s why I wanted Amazon US gc at a discount cause Amazon AU gc doesn’t work
