Everyday Extra Free Item Reward Got Charged despite Boosting It Already

Does anyone know how this works? I recently subscribed to everyday extra and this was my first time using the free item reward. I had boosted it like 2-4 days ago, went today to buy it and it still charged me. I double checked with receipt and on bank app.

    • "Free Ritz Crackers 155g-227g"

      I bought the 227g one

        That was a Flybuys offer.

      • Probably 155g - 227g means 226g is counted but 227g is not.

        • whaaat? even in offer photo they have displayed 227g one

Message customer service with receipt and screenshot. They will sort it out.

  • I just picked up my first free every rewards extra item. Worked fine. Do you have many rewards cards? Did you scan the correct one?

    • I have just one

      What did you get?

  • Did you self checkout?

    • yes

Why did you make final payment if the item still showed full price at final checkout after scanning EDR's card? It should clear to $0.00 with everyday rewards blah blah blah on the screen.

        User error.

I got a free pack of Nobby’s nuts and it’s salty as well.

Maybe someone else used it before you? Just like how the rewards credit got stolen too.

  • Are you sure it didn't balance out at the end? and have a - (minus/negative) of the product price?

I had something similar where there was a 2 for $x offer and it removed the difference, didn't change the products individual price, just removed the difference of the 2 for $x deal.

  • If you message their online support they will sort it out, it seems to happen quite a bit with their free items.
