Pizza Hut seems to be better than Domino's but nothing like they use to be back in the 80s/90s when they had restaurants.

You really shouldnt consider Domino's and Pizza Hut as the same food as a real pizza store. It's cheap, calorie dense, crap. It has a purpose as essentially the cheapest take away food you can buy if you just want to eat something cheap and tastes okay. If you want pizza go to a proper pizza store.

Normally I'd agree but last pizza I got from pizza hut was genuinely decent quality and surprised me… They are hit and miss and I guess depends on your location too

I just got some from this deal and I think it's a little better than dominoes but still a long way off a proper pizza store (though it is much cheaper). The toppings are definitely better than dominoes, the base was worse though (I just chose the default, I'll probably choose a different base next time, it was too thick and seemed like it was fried as it must just be sitting in a pool of oil while baking).

yeah nah so overrated and overpriced. some of the best tasting pizzas can be found from kebab stores.

        • Different league, kevab stores pizza are like $22

          • @mikeoxlarge: it was a reply to cheapbrahs go to a "proper pizza store" comment which is definitely more than the ~$22 range.

            • @[Deactivated]: I guess it depends where you live, lots of good pizza stores around me and it's only like $17 for a large pizza.

              • +1

@CheapBrah: $17 is a costco pizza, nobody is selling at those prices.

                • @[Deactivated]: Pretty normal price in suburban Melbourne for a large pizza, some places even cheaper. Costco pizza is big, probably better to compare that to a family sized pizza which is more like $20 at a pizza store.

also images always show the pizzas overflowing with toppings but when they show up, you're lucky if it has 1/4 of the toppings shown.

    • Just send in a complaint and support will handle that bs

Think this stacks with 50% Shopback cashback

    • I doubt it. Only the HUT codes do afaik.

      • Says cashback is eligible on the use of all official pizza hut promo codes. At least it tracked, $20 cashback if it works out on $27 spend.

        • +1

How do u get $20 when it says max capped $10 on shopback

          • +1

@kadaj: There was a challenge as well which was another 50% capped at $10. So 2x$10.

    • How are you getting $20 cashback when it says its capped at $10?

Aldi sells large pizza for about $4.50.

They also sell raw ingredients to make your own pizza…

I prefer those ready ones. I buy 3, 1 for me, 2 for the dog as he refuses to eat Macca, KFC, RR, and HJ's junks.

        • +1

I feel like I've heard about your dog eating lots of things even though he's meant to be picky. Perhaps a consistent diet (not of pizza) would do him good

          • @SpainKing: Given how frequently and passionately the bendy one waxes lyrical about his dog’s eating habits, I suspect we all know what he wishes the dog was eating…

        • test if he'll eat an aldi pizzapocket.

    • Thanks, one trick.

You could also grow the ingredients for less than a dollar. Imagine how much money you’d have left over for dog food then?

Just tried this, and the coupon was removed at the final stage and stated that the coupon was not available at this time.

Update: It worked when I didn't order anything else!

Seems I got 2x$10 back from Shopback so only cost me $7. Yeah it's not great food but $7 for 3 pizzas delivered is basically giving it away.

    • How do you get 2 x $10 cashback? Its capped at $10?

      • There was also a challenge for 50% CB capped at $10 that you could activate and stacked with the regular 50% CB capped at $10.

  • Codes still not available at my local store unfortunately….

  • Only just found out now, so only option is order on Sunday and pay extra surcharge…

    Makes it less appealing.

  • Code still working today 18/12.

  • Well now there is no 50% at pizza hut, even if the code does work.

Just found out cashrewards now does 4.9% for new pizzahut customer and 2.1% for return pizzahut customer. Scumbags
