Anyone know a way to have a click and collect order delivered? I am looking to buy something that is not available at any Target stores near me but is available for C&C in a store about 3 hours away. Delivery is not available online due to low stock.
So I am wondering if Target would do a store transfer or if anyone else has had a similar issue and found a way to get the item delivered?

Target CnC only is for final clearance at limited locations.
I remember getting a raincheck on a discontinued Combo oven at Kmart.
Weeks later got a call to get the new model at the very low old price. Worth trying.
Target allows you to delegate the CnC so perhaps do that in conjunction with

What did Target support, or either of the stores, say when you diligently pre-emptively contacted them?
The manager who could answer that question was not working today. I plan to call tomorrow and find out but thought I would pre-empt that conversation by tapping into some of the wisdom here on OzB first.

This posts makes me think OP doesn't want the item, or is waiting for someone here to pick it up and deliver it to them.
The effort imbalance is strong with this one.
If I didn’t want the item I would not have posted here. This is something one of my daughters wants but it is very hard to find now so thought I would ask a question.
I deliberately did not mention any specific details such as store locations as I am not asking anyone on OzB to go out of their way to help or anything like that.
My query is if anyone had had a similar experience and can offer some advice from that experience.

Have had target transfer larger items store to store locally before.. but their online stock management and fulfilment is almost as bad as Kmart.
For me, when checking stock, this comes up "If not available for collection at preferred store, we’ll deliver to you in 3-7 days for free. T&Cs apply." - have you tried using their live chat to see if it can be delivered?

Order C&C and hope it's OOS - they'll source and send - whole process takes weeks.
Hope you get a sympathetic manager at the C&C store who will despatch for you, unlikely to transfer clearance stock from those regional stores.
Yeah I have ordered and hopefully OOS so they ship from another store.
Sadly they have it in stock in the store I ordered it 😀 I will have to organise for a mate to collect it

Sometimes I order from a store that’s unlikely to have stock with the hope they will be out of stock and deliver it.
