  • Decently entertaining game. Fun and relaxing game play and art style.

There isn't really much choice in terms of play style or progression. You just build/do/go wherever is next.

  • Good game but poorly optimised on switch. For the price though it's acceptable

  • I enjoyed this game

Definitely a gem. I got this on my switch OLED and it plays great (by switch standards lol). Runs stable 30fps.

That said I also have the newer game (My Time at Sandrock) on Steam which I play on my Asus ROG Ally. For those that are looking to play the next entry in this franchise or only have time to play one, I’d highly recommend checking out the 2nd game as it improved every aspect of the first + so much more depth, content and rewards

  • Is it like farmville, but on 3d sort of thing

  • Never really understood the love this game got. The gameplay is janky and it feels very cheaply made. Not too long after I put it down I found out it was developed by a Chinese company which made complete sense.

I played it on PS4 and the loading screens were brutal for such a simple game so I can't imagine how it'd go on Switch.

For $4.50 it's worth giving a go but it's laughable that they're charging $45.00 for it.

how is it compare to Palia, its free comparing to this game for $4.50? is this still worth to pay $4.50?

    • +1

Palia is literally shit. Downloaded and played for 1 hr, uninstalled.

I guess Palia spent 90% of their budget on marketing. Not even 1% comparable to Zelda and Animal Crossing.

Portia is a much better game. Also, it is 100% offline. Palia you need to be online to play it.

Every time I play one of these games (Portia, Coral Island etc) all they do is remind me how nobody has done it better than Stardew Valley yet, and I just go back and play that… Again.

  • This is a great game, but the PC version is the one you should play if possible.

Console versions are serviceable enough, but PC is plays\runs(can)look much better. The Switch version also doesn't have great performance and I've heard fair few stories about corrupted saves after a long playtime.
