That’s one less available for someone else who might have needed one.

      That's the Ozbargain way!

Have this… fast charging yes but massive regret. Those blue LEDs are blinding! You've been warned….

    • You gotta keep the cables plugged in all the time ;)

    • +4

      The goggles do nothing !!

    • +1

single drop of pva glue can help

Bought it in October via previous deal. Build quality is great, a bit hard to insert, but works fine, so just bought another one :)

    • +1

Is it because it's a tight fit or awkward shape?

      • Kind of both, but mostly just a tight fit (a bit stiff pins I guess).
But as I said the build quality is great, so I was more worried about car socket rather than about the charger itself.

        That's what she…nevermind

  • I bought this one recently https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BPH4SNRV
Haven't used it yet. But I needed one cigarette outlet for the dash cam, it has USB ports for phones, and a spare cigarette outlet just in case. Expensive for what is surely cheap Chinese crap but I didn't want to spend hours researching.

I've saved saved alot of money and landfill not being on prime but I still can't stop checking the OZB five times a day.

    • +1

      No. 30W + 18W.

      • +1

Not even close. This one looks identical which I returned it as it was doing total 20W when using both USB-A+Type-C simultaneously

        • +1

"30W + 18W" means what each port is capable of and not the total output when used together. The charger itself or the manual/box should have markings to indicate what the max load is for both. Cheaper chargers as you've discovered will often be lower.

    Seems to be $16.99 now

    • 16.99 for me too

  • Super cheap price not working anymore

  • Expired - No coupon tick-box to be found.

  • Same

Hate it when you get distracted at work & you come back to buy & you're too late - very poor Ozbargaining technique

  • My phone gets thermal shutdown just after one hour of driving at any sunny summer day. Charging makes it even faster. How do you solve this problem?

    • aircon phone holder

      • These are not very rigid, I saw them breaking pieces of the palstic they have been attached to, or just falling off. Which would you recommend?

        • Nah I had the same feeling about them - but they are solid if you get the right one.

    • Mount it on or next to the AC vents - our work vans are setup like that and our iPhones are ice cold all the time.

    • That happened to me in the old days with wireless charging.
I use CarPlay, the phone never gets hot charging, but if I try and use the phone like in a cradle and charge, yes it gets hot. Latest iPhone gets ridiculously hot just using it.

  • How does this compare with Toocki 50W QC PD 3.0 charger on offer frequently for AUD $4-5 delivered?

    • +1

I had a heap of those I was sorting through to post. Toocki has 20W in the USB C instead of 30W.

  • I got the this one when it was on sale a few months ago, and find the PD fast charging is still slow on my Samsung (which supports up to 20W charging). Feels like the same speed as a 2A (10W) home charger.
