Good if you already have a tp-link router to give yourself a legit mesh network for quite cheap.
With that being said, Tp-link are meant to be transitioning/updating most devices to 'easymesh' (which effectively functions the same as asus AI mesh where you can use any router to create a mesh network) and phasing out their propriety 'onemesh' system with these types of mesh extenders.
Was announced a year or so ago but it still looks like not many, if any devices have been updated to support it yet.
