Got notified that a bunch of my wishlist were reduced as part of Steam's Winter Sale. I was advised that a lot of these are must play games, and right now are at all time lows! (I've gone ahead and indicated these by bolded font). I've double checked prices and have indicated if they are cheaper elsewhere.

      I wanted Minecraft Dungeons Ultimate Edition for the kids, which is now 50% off… But you can't add it to wishlist, only standard edition (which is full price), so I never got an alert. Steam have come so far, but still have rookie errors.

      Have you tried the other one/two high quality free mods? Can't remember what they're called… But they're mint! I thought one was possibly better than Black Mesa.

        No Sir. I'll have to check it out. But TBH the base game looks and feels way better then most modern AAA shooters.

    God I loved The Stanley Parable. Haven't played it since release. Should be enough time to enjoy it again. I wonder what is deluxe about this release?

        You could probably watch 5-15 minutes (not too long!) of a playthrough to get the game's vibe. It's well liked, but no game is for everyone.

      The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe contains the original game and more content. I recommend looking up the promo videos on YouTube before playing.

    Mass Effect: LE is definitely worth it. If you're a fan of the series it's excellent. I bought the version for Xbox and paid a lot more, and I still think it was great value. ME1 doesn't look much better, but that's only because of the engine it was built on, but both 2 & 3 are amazing. Gameplay is way smoother as well.

    Black Mesa is worth it at full price. Half Life fans who haven't played it yet, or fans of old school FPS should definitely grab it at this price IMO

      I grabbed it last time it was on sale for about $7 or $8. I have just found out that they've ported this to VR, so I will be going back to Black Mesa in VR! Can't wait to try it.

    never played the OG half-llife or half-life 2 for that matter - i remember back in my teens, i used to install HL2.exe so I could install the CS mod lol. Then everything became standalone from HL.
